The Billings Farm & Museum is a working dairy farm
and early American museum in Woodstock, Vermont.
We worked with Smith-Alvarez-Sienkiewycz, Architects and construction manager H.P. Cummings on the new theater and entry. The heavy timber trusses are a standard queen post truss design.
The theater, shown above, is made of western douglas fir. The entry timber frame, shown below,
is made of rough hemlock. Wood beams add a wonderful dimension to the beauty of the construction project.
