The Rancho Santa Fe Pavilion in Rancho Santa Fe California was built using planed and chamfered Douglas Fir. The trusses feature a modified Scissor Truss Design with black steel tie rods. Vermont Timber Works worked on the project with Landry Design Group and Dugally Oberfeld.
The Pavilion was designed with a kitchen, stone fireplace, and entertainment area with retractable doors so that the outdoors and the beautiful California scenery could be enjoyed in the open air, while also retaining the comfort and elegance of a closed structure when desired.
