Is there an installation manual?
Do you send an installation manual along with the timber frame? How do we know where the pieces go?
We don’t have an installation manual because all of our post and beam kits are different. We do send detailed shop drawings showing exactly where all the members go and how they are connected. Every piece is labeled with a production number, and that production number is shown on the shop drawings. If you have questions, please give us a call right away – we will walk you through the process and help you in every way we can to ensure a smooth installation.
Of course, if we are erecting the timber frame, you don’t have to worry about a thing. We will take care of everything, from arranging for a forklift, unloading the truck, assembling the bents, getting a crane service and finally to erecting the frame.
